Dr. Taha presented his work at SELSICON national meeting. He presented his video on TaTME. ( Trans Anal Total Mesorectal Excision).SELSI is Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India. It is a prestigious organization of laparoscopic surgeons of India which holds annual meets known as SELSICONS. This time it was held in Delhi in September 2019.
Dr Taha being facilitated at the International Advanced Colorectal Disease Conference in Delhi.
In February 2020 an international Colorectal Disease conference was held in Delhi in collaboration with Chrisite National Health Services cancer center from UK. Dr. Taha presented his work on TAMIS in this conference. His work was well appreciated and he also chaired important sessions on colorectal cancer.
International TaTME Registery
Dr. Taha is the only surgeon from India who is participating in the international Ta TME registry. It is a registry of patients which monitors the outcome of rectal cancer patients over a 5 year period by using the latest technique known as trans anal total mesorectal excision (TaTME). This has put India on the map of this international cancer registry. There are 44 countries and 282 centers worldwide participating in the registry. This is a NHS (National Health Services ) United Kingdom approved project and worlds most premier institutes which are participating in it.
Trans anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS)
Dr Taha Being facilitated at Pahalgam(J&K). Where a CME was held on Benign Anorectal Disorders. Dr Taha spoke on LIFT technique of anal fistula treatment and role of SNS (anal pace maker) in Fecal incontinence.He also was invited at SKIMS to demonstrate his technique of laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery.

Dr was awarded best paper award at Worldcon a national level forum with invited speakers from across the world. This conference was held at Daman in Feb 2017 He received the prize for his work on Trans anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS)
